Christmas Cards 2010 029
Thumping is the technique used on these cards–one of the techniques that my Technique clubs learned this month.  The card on the right is the basic card and the one on the left is 'a step up' with the flower cut out and mounted on a background with the En Francais Script embossed.  The thumping technique on the flower is stunning!  Stamp the flower in Pear Pizzazz.  Then thump, tap or drum the coordinating colors (in this case, Concord Crush and Peach Parfait) onto the already inked rubber stamp. Huff on the stamp to add moisture and stamp onto Whisper White cardstock.  For an added touch, dab the two-way glue randomly onto the flower and sprinkle with dazzling diamonds.  Finish card as desired.  See you tomorrow!
