I've been rather silent for the past couple of weeks as I was in India. My schedule was quite busy and crafting just wasn't on my list of things to do, although I must admit I really missed my craft room.
Today's card is so amazing! I cased this from Gretchen Barron, whom I met at Leadership Convention in January. I changed the size of the hearts on the antannae and also the color of the ribbon.
Supplies used in this project include: Real Red, Pink Pirouette, Basic Black, Regal Rose and Whisper White Cardstock, Red Glimmer Paper (#121790) from the Occasions Mini, Real Red Craft Ink, Basic Black Craft Ink, Clear Embossing Powder, Black Embossing Powder, Perfect Polka Dots Embossing Folder, Pretty in Pink Satin 5/8" Ribbon, Cropodile, Pinking Hearts Border Punch, 1 3/4" Circle Punch, 1 1/4" Circle Punch, Ornament Punch, Heart to Heart Punch, and Dimensionals.
I decorated the inside of the card by stamping the caterpiller stamp from Cute As A Bug in Black Craft ink and then embossed with Black Embossing powder. Then I took a Real Red Stampin' Write Marker and colored the white parts on caterpiller. I also decorated the envelope with the caterpiller–it is so stunning! My HandiCrafters will all be making a card like this at our downline meeting tomorrow evening.
Hope you like this card as much as I do–sorry, the photo just doesn't do justice. If you'd like to learn how to make this card and or many other beautiful cards, check my calendar for my class schedule or contact me to set a date for your own workshop. Thanks for stopping by.
