Today's card is a variation of my previous post. I used another pattern of the new Paisley Patterns DSP that will be abailable on April 1. This time I used River Rock as the base of the card and Bravo Burgandy as the second layer. Of course, I made another flower with my favorite Big Shot Die, Fun Flowers #121812 from the Occasions Mini. I sponged and distressed the flower, sprayed it with Champagne Shimmer Mist #116806–a couple drops mixed with rubbing alcohol in a small spray bottle, and added a retired Bravo Burgandy button threaded with a little linen thread tied in a bow.
A little twill tape or ribbon of your choice where the two pieces of DSP meet and a sentiment and my card is done. This is an easy, beautiful, fast card. If you're stuck for ideas, this one is very easy to duplicate–just pick a piece pf DSP, whatever you have and two coordinating colors of CS for your card base and the second layer. If you don't have the Fun Flowers Die, just use whatever flower you have and see what you can come up with. FYI: The size of the DSP is 5 1/8" x 3 7/8". You cut 2 " off the bottom and flip it around.
Hope you like today's card. Thanks for stopping by. See you tomorrow!
