Elegant Thank You

Hi!  Today I'd like to share with you a couple of cards that showcase the Wax Paper Resist Technique–one of the techniques we'll be doing at our Technique Club tonight.  I made several cards in different colors so I'll show you my favorite one first–this card is done in Rich Razzleberry and Old Olive.

The next card is done in Marina Mist with a touch of Cajun Craze:

I used the Marina Mist 3/8" Taffeta Ribbon and tied a little bow using the fork method–if you don't know how to do this, then you'll want to learn.  I always try to teach something new for everyone so no one gets bored.    For the Cajun Craze accent behind the sentiment, I used the Tab Punch which layers perfectly under the 1 3/4" circle punch.

There's another twist to this technique and it's called the Big Shot Wax Paper Resist Technique.  I thought this would be great to share this month, especially because I'm giving away Big Shots at the big party on April 26th.  Did you get your Big Shot tickets so you can have a chance to win one?   Don't wait till the last day as they may be sold out–there's only 150 tickets printed.  I'll be posting a Big Shot Wax Resist in tomorrows post so you'll be sure to want to come back.

See you tomorrow!
