Butterflies, Buttons & More!

Posted by on Jul 26, 2011 in Birthday, Other, Wedding/Anniversary

Hi!  Today I'd like to share with you the cards we made at my Butterflies, Buttons & More Stack yesterday.  Each lady made two of each of these cards.  The supplies for each card are prepared in a bag and its just a matter stamping,  embossing with the Big Shot and putting it together.

The butterfly cards couldn't have been done without the Big Shot!  The embossing adds a WOW dimension.  The Beautiful Wings Embosslit #118138 and Perfect Polka Dots Embossing Folder were used on the first card:

Next, white on white, the Vintage Wallpaper Embossing Folder #120175, En Francais background in Wisteria Wonder #122936 and a butterfly (twisted kissing technique) and the sentiment in Elegant Eggplant with a small on Rhinestone on the butterfly to add a little extra glitz!

On the next card I used the Button, Button stamp set with So Saffron, Poppy Parade and Chocolate Chip Classic Ink.  To add extra dimension to this card I got out the bag full of buttons that we got for FREE on cruise. The buttons have a thin sliver of paper thread tied in a knot and are attached with mini glue dots.

My next card was made with "I Dig You", another free stamp set that I got  with my Sale-A-Bration rewards.  I also made my a template on a window sheet with Stazon ink so it is ready whenever one needs it.  You can change what's on the back of the truck to–dirt, animals or gifts.  I love the inside of the card as well, which I didn't take a photo of–a hill of dirt with the Front End Loader driving up the hill.  It is so cute!

The last card is a 5 1/4" x 5 1/4" square card, similar to a card I posted previously, however, this time I chose to use a stamp from the Hostess set, Ain't Love Grand #122505.  The Lace Ribbon Border Punch #122362 is used to make the frame and the Elegant Lines Embossing folder #119277 adds extra dimension on the corners.

Now I need to go make something else so I'll have something new to show you for my next post.  Thanks for stopping by.  See you tomorrow!
