Convention Make ‘n Take #1
Hi! Convention Make 'n Takes are always so amazing and it seems each year, Stampin' Up has such amazing projects and there's never enough time to do them all in the class so Connie and I opted to do our Make 'n Takes at home so we could attend some extra classes. The first project I'd like to share with you is a beautiful Card Keeper Box. I changed the project slightly by adding retired Day/Night DSP to the outside and inside of the box. I have to admit I like my card box better than the one on the instruction sheet. Here's the outside of the box:
The inside of the box is lined with black DSP with White dots. The dividers are covered with Timeless Portrait DSP, the bottom of the box is Basic Black and the lid of the box is covered with Timeless Portrait Designer Fabric–it really adds a nice touch to this project:
I made a 3-D paper flower and glued it on the top of the box with a hot glue gun as per the instructions. Now that I know how to put this together, I plan on using this idea in one of my future classes.
I'm very pleased with this project and hope you like it too! My next post will have the remaining three Convention Make 'n Take projects. Thanks for stopping by. I'll be back soon!
