Fun Folds & More!

Posted by on Aug 7, 2011 in Other

My friend, Jennifer Reynard, a fellow demonstrator, invited me to a workshop at her house today to made four amazingly beautiful cards!

The first card is a cool fun fold card that was designed by Jen's upline, Brenda Bedard.  You have to see how the front of the card flips to really appreciate the incredible design although even the front of the card is beautiful as is.  Colors are Daffodil Delight, Old Olive and Whispe White.

Card #3:  a masculine card using The Open Sea, #123030 from the Summer Mini, available till August 31, 2011 only and Winter Post, #111780.  The 1/8" Very Vanilla Taffeta is knotted and glued with glue dots to add a little extra texture to the card.

Card #4 – A Christmas card made with the Pennant Parade #122740 and of course the coordinating Petite Pennants Builder Punch #122361.  Colors used are Chocolate Chip, Lucky Limeade and Poppy Parade.  I added Silver Glass Glitter #120995 and a Basic Rhinestone #119246 to the top of the tree.  Dazzling Diamonds are added to the centre of the Pointsettas with Tombow Multi Purpose Liquid Glue #110755.

As is often the case, the photos don't do justice to these cards–they are even more stunning in real life.

Hope you like these cards as much as I do!  Thanks so much for your comments on my blog.  This month I'm celebrating the first anniversary of my blog and as mentioned earlier, for every comment I receive, your name will go into a draw for some free product from the Holiday Mini that will be effective on September 1, 2011.  I love reading your comments–keep them coming!  And I'll do my best to keep coming up with new ideas and projects for an inspiration to all of us!  Thanks for looking!
