Swap Cards

Posted by on Oct 14, 2011 in Uncategorized

Hi!  Last night we had our monthly HandiCrafters Downline meeting and Show & Share/swapping is an important part of our meeting.  Today I'll share the cards we exchanged.

The first card was created by Nancy Grainger. To look at, this is a beautiful card with all the brilliant colors, but to touch, is even better.  The really cool thing about this card is that the balloon holding the sentiment, "it's your day!" is a spinner!

The next card was created by Connie Turner.  This Halloween card is a two-in-one.  The web embossing folder gives texture to the black cardstock.  The Old Olive DSP is attached with dimensionals so there's enough space to add the final element of the card–a magnetic book mark.  How genius!

The next card was created by Jennifer Blain.  With Remembrance Day less than a month away, the timing of this card is perfect.  You need to see the actual card to appreciate the detail.

The final card is the one everyone made–this is a CASE from the Stamping School with Linda Heller.  The snowman is stamped on vellum cardstock and then the back side of the vellum is colored with Stamp 'n Write markers and glued on Whisper White cardstock with two glue dots.  This is one of the cards for my Stamp-A-Stack.  This is a fun card and easy to make.

I love every one of these cards!  I hope you have been inspired by today's creativity!

Thanks for stopping by.  I'll be back tomorrow.
