Welcome to my blog!  This FUN card is my very own creation–sorry the photo doesn't do justice!  I used the Retiform technique on the background, however, instead of using squares or strips like we did in out technique class, I ripped the paper.  Colors used are Certainly Celery, Pear Pizzaz, Old Olive and Always Artichoke.

I showed you this background a couple of days ago but here's the card I came up with.  The stamp sets used are Lovely As A Tree and Dinoroar.

I think the dinosaurs are just perfect for this background.  They are stamped on Watercolor paper with Black Craft Ink and embossed, then colored with an aquapainter with ink from the lid of the ink pads.  The dinosaurs are cut out and raised with dimensionals.  This is a very cool card!  Do you like it?

I hope I've challenged you to make a card using the Retiform Technique–the options and colors are endless!  Retiform is a fast and fun technique.  Try it today!

Thanks for looking and have a great day!

  1. This card rocks! Can it be my birthday card in June?

  2. I agree, it is an absolutely amazing card! What day is your birthday so I can send your b-day card?
