I Dig Dinosaurs

Welcome!  Today I've got another dinosaur card to share with you.  I used the same layout as yesterdays card but a different background and technique.  The trees in the background are stamped on Whisper White Cardstock.  I used the Vitalized Vellum Technique on the top layer (vellum) and stamped the trees (without ink) for a faint outline.  Finally, I assembled all, and stamped another group of trees, offset, on top with Black Stazon ink.

The dinosaurs look like they're right up front–they were stamped on Watercolor paper with Black Craft ink, embossed with clear embossing powder, colored with aquapainters and cut out.  Since I didn't have black brads, I improvised–I colored silver brads with a black sharpie marker and embossed them with clear embossing powder.  I'm happy with the result.

If I only had more time to play, I'd be making another variation of this card right away, but that will have to wait till next time.  I'm planning to incorporate a moon in the sky on my next card.

Thanks for looking at my creation today–hope I've inspired you.  Have a great day!
