Bluebird Punch Art

Punch cards 031
Today I was looking for punch art ideas in preparation for the Punch Art Class I'm having next week.  I finally settled on this bird.  I changed the colors and the complete design of the card to come up with this.  I embossed the Early Expresso Coredinations cardstock with the NEW Woodgrain Embossing Folder #127821 and then lightly sanded to emphasize the wood grain. I punched a 2 1/2" circle for the hole in the tree and added a piece of Basic Black cardstock behind the hole.

If you would like to know more about how to make this card and the bird in particular, then come to my Punch Art class next week to make this card and also an instruction sheet with all the details.

I've got a Punch Art class scheduled the second Monday of every month–this is not a club so anyone is welcome to come.  For more details, check out my calendar.  Thanks for visiting my blog.

I LOVE stamping and can hardly wait to share another exciting project with you tomorrow.
