Watercolor Wash

Posted by on Mar 6, 2013 in Birthday, Other

This is my first attempt at Watercolor Wash Technique–what a fast and fun technique!  Stamp 'n Write colors used were Daffodil Delight, Pumpkin Pie, Real Red, Marina Mist and Not Quite Navy.

Supply List:

  • Everything Eleanor #124162W $44.95 or #124164C 32.95
  • Beautiful Birthday #125562 $8.95
  • Watercolor paper #122959 (5 sheets, 6" x 9") $5.95
  • Cajun Craze Cardstock #119684 (24 sheets) $8.50
  • Basic Black Cardstock #121045 (24 sheets) $8.50
  • Basic Black Craft Ink #102192 $9.25
  • Clear Embossing Powder #109130 $5.95
  • Stamp 'n Write Markers $4.50 each (colors indicated above)

Scribble your colors onto Watercolor paper and spray with water–the colors blend and run. I blotted mine with a tissue paper but next time I'll probably forget that step. Let dry and finish your card as desired.  I love it!  Do you?

Have some fun and try it today!  Happy crafting!
