Shaving Cream Susan B

Have you ever tried the shaving cream technique as used on these colorful butterflies?  This is a FUN technique to try and your card even smells nice!  Do not use shaving gel.

You can purchase a large can of foam shaving cream from a dollar store for $1.25. Shake the can and fill a tray with shaving cream, smooth it out as if you are icing a cake and randomly drop re-inker  color(s) of your choice.  Try different color combinations to see which one you like the best.  Swirl through the ink drops with a pointed object to create a pattern.  Place your cardstock directly on the shaving cream pressing down firmly to make sure all areas of the C/S are covered. Lift and scrape of excess shaving cream. Blot with a paper towel to make sure no shaving cream remains and finish your card as desired.

Try this technique today.  Even kids can do this!  Each pattern is unique and you can coordinate with colored cardstock and accessories.
