Faux Watercolor Stamping

Faux Watercolor Stamping

Today’s technique is Faux Watercolor stamping.  Water color paper is the best to use, however, you can use Whisper White or Very Vanilla cardstock.  On this sample, I colored the hydrangea from The Best of Flowers stamp set with Stamp ‘n Write markers, Pool Party and Wild Wasabi.  After coloring your image, mist lightly with water and stamp. The sentiment at the bottom of the card is stamped in Island Indigo on Pool Party cardstock.   Did you notice the lovely lined envelope?  They are the BEST!

This is one of the techniques that stampers will be learning at this months’ Technique Club.  If you’re interested in trying out the club, you are invited to attend the Thursday class as a non-member for $10. or FREE with a minimum $25. order.

Thanks for visiting my blog.  Have a wonderful day!
