Circle Creations

Creating with circles is fun!  Today’s share has 4 layers, 3 colors (Early Expresso, Wild Wasabi and Calypso Coral), an assortment of circles, Garden Trellis (143741) embossed background and a sentiment.  How do you like it? This was my second sample and I love it!  The layers are popped up with dimensionals and I added a Wild Wasabi Enamel Shape and Wink of Stella on the sentiment, which you can’t see on the photo but in person, this card is a real WOW!  Try to recreate this card using the colors and circles of your choice!  Color is fun and I’ll be trying out a few more color combos myself!  I’d love to see your creations! Thanks for visiting today!  Happy...

Mini Gift Bags!

Posted by on Oct 19, 2017 in 3D, Holiday

These adorable little gift bags were inspired by Jessica Taylor.  The one thing I like about creating projects, is that when you see something you like, you don’t have to have the same supplies to recreate the project.  In today’s project, I used the Warmth & Cheer Designer Series Stack from the 2016 Holiday catalogue.  To make one bag, you need 2 – 6″ x  6″ pieces of DSP.  Score at 1 1/2″ on three sides. on one sheet, cut out the two 1 1/2″ squares, attach to two pieces at the bottom, put adhesive on the remaining two 1 1/2″ squares as well as the back two 1 1/2″ sides.  Attach the squares to the back side panels and then adhere the front panels onto the back panels. Punch two holes for your ribbon, make the tag of your choice.  Cut two pieces of ribbon 7 1/2″ long, (I used the Mini Tinsel Trim Combo Pack #144636 (page 21) from the Holiday catalogue) and feed through the tag and then through the right hole on the front of the bag and tie a single knot.  Feed the other end in through the left hole and tie another knot.  Feed and tie the second ribbon through the holes on the back of the bag.  Add a little treat or surprise and your gift is ready! Why not make a mini gift bag today?  Have fun and try it.  Use whatever supplies you have and see how easy it is to create this bag.  Thanks for visiting today!  Happy...

Spooky Night!

Posted by on Oct 12, 2017 in Creative Folds, Other

Today’s share created with the Spooky Night Designer Series Paper is a CASE from Linda Bauwin with a few additions.  The first photo shows the card closed, the second card shows the first open position.  To fully open card, you lift the Trick or Treat layer and open it to the left. I will keep the last step to open this card a surprise, however, if you’d like to learn how to make this fun fold, plan now to attend my Creative Folds Class on October 30.  There are more details about this class on my calendar. Thanks for visiting today.  Happy crafting!...
