Moon Baby

Posted by on Feb 2, 2017 in Babies & Kids

Today I’d like to share three Moon Baby samples and would like to get your vote on which one you like best!  Sample one and two are identical except for the image; sample three is made with the Falling in Love Designer Series Paper. Coloring of images is done with an aqua painter and a small amount of ink in the lid of the ink pad.  When dry, I added Wink of Stella to the baby and the stars.  What a fun stamps set to create with! Your opinion is valued so I’d love to know which one you like best!  I need 5 votes to make this little contest work.  The winner of 5 or more will receive a package of complimentary Rhinestones from me.  If I am unable to deliver, I will mail.  Thanks for participating and thanks for visiting...

No Bones About It!

This amazing Card in a Box was created by my dear friend, Gail Lowe from Tisdale, SK.  I visited Gail last week and was privileged to see her incredible crafting art gallery in her basement!  I would LOVE to attend her classes. Unfortunately, Gail has not been in her craft room since the beginning of March due to her battle against cancer but if you think of Gail when your saying your prayers, please say an extra prayer for her. I got tonnes of amazing  ideas from my visit and plan to incorporate some of them into my classes, as well as my Holiday Escape & Create Retreat in September!  Registration will open on July 1 so be sure to watch for more details soon! You won’t want to miss this amazing event and spots are limited. Thanks for visiting...

Celebrate ‘One’

Celebrating our granddaughter’s first birthday!  This slider card was inspired by a card originally created by Dawn Griffith.  This card was created with the It’s a Party Designer Series Paper, the Punch Pack and, of course, I couldn’t forget the Large Numbers thinlits, the Cupcake Builder Punch, the Stars Border punch, Glimmer paper and more! After I made  my first b-day card for Arynn, my creative juices start flowing, and this is the one I decided to give her!  I love every part of this card, including the inside–filled with cute little cupcakes with Melon Mambo icing and a Chocolate Chip cupcake! Thanks for visiting today.  I’ll be back tomorrow with some more great card ideas from our HandiCrafters Dessert Night card swap...

Cupcake Slider

Posted by on Mar 25, 2016 in Babies & Kids, Birthday, Occasions 2016

I wanted to make a special birthday card for our granddaughter who will be turning 1 on Sunday–a year has just flown by!  This interactive slider card reveals a special message when you pull the slider tab!  This design was originally created by Dawn Griffith, but I changed it up a bit.  Without the big cupcakes on the bottom, the card just seemed too plain so I added the big cupcakes.  Then I decided to add the number “1” but I needed more room and decided there should only have been one big cup cake! Come back tomorrow to see another version, with a few more bells and whistles.  I can hardly wait to share with...
