Half Full Meets You’ve Got Style!

Today’s adorable card was created by Jackie Tillman and was another swap I received at Salt Lake City OnStage last week.  A close up view of this card is absolutely delightful!  When I received this card, I couldn’t help but be attracted to the little old lady!  The fur on her coat and hat glimmer with Wink of Stella, coloring was done with the NEW Stampin’ Blends.  These two stamps are definitely a perfect match! Have you heard of the Stampin’ Blends that were released for sale on November 1?  I’ve only played with them a bit, but I must say, they are lovely alcohol markers for coloring and are available in dark and light in twelve colors.  If you’d like to try them out, plan to attend one of my upcoming classes to test them. Thanks for visiting today!  Happy...

Cat Kisses

Posted by on Sep 6, 2017 in 3D, Punch Art

Today’s post is for all cat lovers and others too! These cute cats were punched out of the Spookey Night Designer Series Paper with the coordinating Cat Punch.  The faces are on the cats  so you don’t need the stamp set to create these cat ‘treats’! Punch out one DSP cat and one cat out of coordinating cardstock. Cut  a piece of CS 3/4″ x 2″ and score 5’8″ on both ends. Burnish the score lines and attach to both cats as per photo. Attach the heads together with a glue dot and slip a chocolate kiss inside. For added bling, you cout put Black Rhinestone Jewels on their eyes (#144639) These treats take just a few minutes to make and are sure to put a smile on anyone’s face! ...

Sending You Hugs!

Posted by on Jul 17, 2017 in Birthday, Memory Keeping, Other, Punch Art, Thanks

This adorable swap card was created by Jenni Pauli.  The inside of the card has vellum pockets with card candy in each pocket–ready to put on a card when you need to make a quick card! It is larger than the standard card size but it was absolutely outstanding, decorated tastefully inside and out! If you haven’t guessed, I’m back from Thailand so now it’s time to start crafting again!  I’m excited about tomorrow’s post–my own creation that I made with retired paper, stamps, ink and ribbon for the Adult Special Needs class I’ll be starting to teach this week!  I hope you can come back to see my very own design, which I love! I’m still adjusting to Mountain Standard Time so this post is rather late, so I’ll plan to post earlier...

Happiest Birthday Wishes!

Posted by on Jul 17, 2017 in Birthday, Punch Art

Here’s my first creation for  an Adult Special Needs class I’m starting to teach this week.  This card was made entirely with retired products:  stamps, ink, paper and embellishments.  The only current tools I used were the  2″ and 2 1/2″ circle punches. Do you have retired products and stamps in your collection? I would like to invite you to recreate this card using any retired supplies you have on hand!  If you take up my challenge, please send me a picture of your card and I’d love to post it on my blog! Thanks for visiting today.  Happy...

Note Pad Gift Set

Posted by on May 24, 2017 in 3D, Punch Art

This lovely note pad gift set was created with the Daisy Suite form the new 2017-18 Stampin’ Up catalogue. Tranquil Tide, a new 2017-19 In Color is featured on this project and you can see I used the Daisy stamp set and Punch. Earlier this week I had a contest and asked two questions: how many daisies did I punch? And how many daisies could I punch out of one piece of 8 1/2 x 11 cardstock? There were only two parricipants in the contest so I will send them each a hand made Daisy card created with the Daisy Bundle, Susan Bondville and Welma Breiter. On my next post I will share the card the contest participants will receive.  Thank you for participating and for visiting my blog!  Happy crafting!...

Crafty Turtle!

Posted by on Mar 9, 2017 in 3D, Big Shot, Punch Art

Love these turtle cards inspired by Frenchie!  These cards are made with a 4 1/4″ x 8 1/2″ cardstock, scored at the 4 1/4″ mark. Cut a shell, 4 1/4″ x 4 1/4″ square and emboss it with the NEW Hexagons Dynamic Textured Impressions Embossing Folder.  The first sample is Always Artichoke and the second is Crumb Cake.  To create the legs, fold card and using your envelope punch board and punch at 1″ and 3 1/4″ on all four sides.  Repeat on the shell and then cut the legs off.  Sponge with desired colors: I used Crumb Cake, Soft Suede, Early Expresso and Always Artichoke.  Have fun and play with color combos. The head is the bell punch with the knob cut off and the tail is the Classic Label Punch.  I had so much fun making these turtle cards, I made 15 in all and shared them with my HandiCrafters and our Dessert Night this week.  I experimented a bit more and Clear Embossed the shell on some of the turtles, after all, turtles do have a shiny, hard shell.  They were a hit!  My next job is to create a detailed photo tutorial. Sale-a-bration will be ending soon so if you haven’t got your favorite FREE items yet, I would encourage you to get them before they are gone! Thanks for visiting today!  Happy crafting!...
