Lovely As a Tree With Sympathy

Posted by on Jan 22, 2017 in Sympathy, Techniques

The classic Lovely As A Tree stamp set has been around the longest!  This beautiful card, created by Jackie Bultje, was a swap at the Canadian Business Conference in Toronto which I attended on January 20-21, 2017.  Beautiful colors with gold and silver, along with soft hills and skies to make this a perfect Sympathy card. I’ll be sharing more great swaps and maybe even a video over the next week to show you great ideas and more! Thanks for visiting today.  Happy...

With Sympathy

Posted by on Dec 26, 2016 in Big Shot, Sympathy

The Detailed Floral Thinlits, layered white on white, are perfect for this special card I made for my friend, Carell.  The frame around the sentiment is from  a Rose Garden thinlit which is layered on an oval from the Ovals Collection.  A little Pool Party for some color and a few pearls scattered about the front of the card. If you like this card, you might want to invest in the  Detailed Floral Thinlits,  currently on sale  for only $19.50 on the Clearance Rack–what a great bargain!  This die set is very versatile and can be used to make a variety of beautiful cards!  See lots of great samples on Pinterest and contact me today to place your order, or simply order Online!    Thanks for visiting today.  ...

Floral Phrases

Posted by on Sep 6, 2016 in Big Shot, Sympathy

Today I’m thinking about my dear friend, Gail Lowe, who lost her battle to cancer.  I originally saw a similar design on Pinterest and loved it so decided to add my own touch to Floral Phrases along with Thoughts & Prayers. The In Color, Sweet Sugarplum is such a lovely color!  Do you like it?  The photo doesn’t show the Shimmery cardstock detail on this card but it is absolutely beautiful! Thanks for visiting today. Happy...

Thoughtful Branches For You

Posted by on Aug 10, 2016 in Big Shot, Sympathy

The Exclusive Thoughtful Branches Bundle, available through August 31 only or while supplies last, was used to create this lovely card!  The sentiment used on this card comes from Feather Together, made especially for my friend who lost her brother to cancer yesterday.  The gold embossed sentiment was a perfect fit for this simple yet elegant card. When the Thoughtful Branches was first introduced, I didn’t think I’d get it but when I started seeing so many beautiful samples, I had to have it!  And now, even though this set is available for a limited time only, it’s definitely a keeper! If you haven’t got yours yet, you can place an order through my online store, or contact me directly to place your order.  Thanks for visiting today!  Happy crafting!...

Timeless Love

Posted by on Feb 17, 2016 in Sympathy

I had originally planned to post an anniversary card today but plans changed!  I learned yesterday that my sisters brother-in-law passed away so I needed some sympathy cards and this is what I came up with.  The layout of these cards was inspired by Tami White and Sam Donald from Pootles.  The colorwash is done on Shimmery White cardstock and let me tell you, it is beautiful to see first hand! I’ll be featuring this technique in my Easy Card Class next week.  It’s easy and fun!  The anniversary card will be in my next post.  Thanks for visiting...
